Data Analysts – £28,000 – £33,000 + 10 – 20% bonus + flexible benefits 

For the more junior position the ideal candidate will have  6 months – 1 year experience

For the more senior position the ideal candidate will have professional work experience between 2 – 3 years.

Based in Central London 

The company is a leading UK provider of analytics expertise and they require a number of technology professionals from analyst to senior associate level to join their rapidly expanding team. This practice delivers professional services to a range of financial institutions, including investment banks, hedge funds and central banks, energy, retail, telecoms, utilities and government. As the business grows, they need several Analysts from junior-senior levels to work on complex, very large data sets, and enable those data sets to reveal answers for FTSE-listed clients.

An excellent opportunity if you are passionate about working with BigData and complex analytical problems. By using latest technologies and working collaboratively with clients, you will be involved in fraud prevention management, anti-money laundering, concept clustering, social network analysis, data visualization and dashboarding. You will be expected to have a credible interest in this area.

This team consists of expert professionals who work together in delivering meaningful insights to a vast portfolio of clients. You will be expected to analyse complex problems and take on emerging technologies in an exciting, fast paced, environment. Your analytical expertise will deliver solutions to commercial businesses not only in the UK but across Europe too. 

Desired skills

– 2:1 or above in numerical subject ( maths, statistics, science, engineering etc…)
– Strong A-Levels essential, maths A-Level essential
– Knowledge of SQL preferable
– Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
– General knowledge of Database skills 
– Desire to learn and progress career
